Hotel Julien Dubuque

The rooms were redone in "timely" reality. Riverboat Bar's manager up on drink knowledge, personality, professional friendliness. Outside seating wonderful, enjoyed trains...memories from my childhood :) Caroline's had time in a bottle presentations and wonderful little amenities, food excellent, wonderful discount for hotel guests. If front desk couldn't accommodate, were Very friendly and helpful in giving updates. Was appreciated since I did not get River or City view, but a side building view, a lower price...THANK YOU.

Hotel Julien is a beautifully restored old hotel. We park ed in their lot across the street, had happy hour (half priced) drinks on the gorgeous outdoor deck, slept so comfortably I woke up thinking I was at home and the next morning walked to a lovely breakfast spot, that introduced us to the huge weekly Farmer's Market. Everything was great!

Beautiful inside and out. Very welcoming. Staff were very friendly from check in to the maid service across the hall at upon leaving. Very nice easy/smooth checkin and checkout.

Beautiful Hotel! Very clean and a very friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant, Caroline's, was delightful! The location is perfect.

Super fabulous historic building with a rich history! The lobby was stunning. The room had modern furnishings that managed to still fit the feeling of the building. Nice area right downtown. Plenty of parking considering it’s in the middle of the downtown area.
